TALENTED ANNE FORESMAN AND HER FABULOUS SCARVES!!!!

Wydinya at West end Garage , Cape May, NJ, is now featuring the talented Anne Foresman. A graduate of Tyler University,and spent her senior year at Philadelphia College of Art,(university of the Arts) on a special program, in Philadelphia, Pa, You can now purchase her fabulous work in South Jersey. Hand dyed fabrics, meticulous craftmanship. We are all so excited to see her work featured in Cape May. What a perfect setting for such a talented artist.

Be sure to head down for a wonderful shopping experience. And after that or before, head for the beach.

Keep in touch for the Ladies night at the Garage. And very soon we will be having a Gentleman's shopping delight night at the Garage, details will follow. As I am kind of winging it until the details unfold. But for sure stay tuned. Ladies night is such a success, I am sure the wonderful men in our lives would love to have the same experience. . Can't forget about the fabulous men in our lives, right LADIES??????

Anyway, time to tend to the store. What am I doing on the computer anyway.....Please stay tuned.

Oh, one more thing, if you are in the market for an auction for a bachelor, There will be a wonderful fund raiser coming up in September for the Annual BAchelor Auction. Welcoming Minna Aaparyti and her fabulour books and Jen Roder of Rodorcaps, creating unique wearable and totally green jewllery. Come on down to West End Garage, Cape May to check out these 2 great artists.

RE-THINK. RE-USE. RE-INVENT

Jen Roder has worked over the past seven years as a professional carpenter and woodworker. In both her jewllery and working projects, Jen's interest in re-usable objects has been a re-occurring theme. Her current use of bottle caps in jewellery was inspired by her interest of common symbols that have been injected into the mainstream advertising. She found that by removing the symbol from the context of an every day bottle cap, the meaning is then transformed into a personal icon to be celebrated by the individual.

NEW NECKLACES WITH FABULOUS PHOTO'S TO SHOW THEM OFF.....

Wow, it has been a long time since my last post. Loads of stuff going on and this post will be brief also. But I am so excited about my new pieces that I just had to share. The colours of my Myan looking necklace is just stunning. And the simplicity of my hearts really make a great statement. So, please enjoy and I hope to be back soon.

Wydinya at Fringe Salon this weekend........

New Necklaces Added to the gallery. Will place in store soon. Just as soon as the weather clears!!

Thinking Spring even though there is loads of snow coming down. Think Spring!! It will be here sooner than you know it. Of course for some, like me, not soon enough. The pretty coloured pendants are frosted acryllic with various images. I love the chandelleir, something a little out of the ordinary. The copper piece is hand cut from sheet metal and then stamped. I then gave it an old world look by adding patina to the finish. All of these pendants hang from leather cords. Will be finishing more so be sure to check back.
Also, if the weather breaks and lets everyone get out of the house, Wydinya will be showing her work at Fringe Hair Salon, this weekend. feb,13th. So if you are in the neighbourhood please be sure to stop by. There will be light bites and wine. It is free to the public. Trish Seimbora, Caterpillar Fur will also be showing her art work and selling her fabulous t-shirts. Will post the flyer up with all the details.

ARE YOU READY????

Okay, this winter is a doozy. Are we ready for yet another snow storm. By the sounds of it, this will be the second biggest snow storm I have experienced in my time here in the States. And it will be my sons second biggest also.

Wow. I thought we were in the home stretch. I have my Spring colours in the store. New facelift. New colours. New pieces. I am so excited about the new look and can't wait to see the other stores who did the same this week. Heading over there now before the bulk of the snow hits. Does anyone know what time that is anyway. I keep hearing different times.

Here are a few Pictures I took yesterday. Will put in store this weekend.

This ring reminds me of a lovely gentleman I met one Summer in Cape May while he was vacationing. And then again he found me at the Kimmel center in Philadelphia. He liked the ring so much that when he saw me he was happy that he found me and bought yet another one. So, in honour of Shakespeare, yes, Shakespeare, I am calling this line, "Shakespeare".

Well, heading over to Cape May now. Stay safe, stay warm.

WEST END GARAGE WINTER HOURS!!!

Be sure to head on down to West End Garage in Cape May, New Jersey. Winter hours are 10am-6pm. Friday, Saturday,
Sunday. Come Spring time , hours will be extended.

This week new items are being added for the Spring. So get a head start on your Spring shopping for some unique gifts. Shop owners are all excited about their new merchandise. I can't wait to see what everyone has to offer. I know, I know, the snow is on the ground how can anyone be thinking about the Spring, or even Summer no less. But I for one am ready. I want to see colour, flowers and sun. Don't you??

Here are some pictures of the West End Garage, inside and out. I will post more pictures of other shops soon. But here are just a few awesome shops to check out. From the Artist's Co-op to the Antique stores, and of course little ole me, Wydinya. I Will be adding more items weekly so be sure to stop by regularly to see what is new. All stores in West End rotate their products frequently, so there is always something new to check out. Each time I am there adding my my own work I always have to take a gander at everyone elses new displays and items. It is just as exciting for me to go there and fix up my shop as well as placing things on my wish list. I am sure once you take a walk through you will understand what I am going on about. In the meantime try to make a point to stop by if you are in the neighbourhood.
