RE-THINK. RE-USE. RE-INVENT
Jen Roder has worked over the past seven years as a professional carpenter and woodworker. In both her jewllery and working projects, Jen's interest in re-usable objects has been a re-occurring theme. Her current use of bottle caps in jewellery was inspired by her interest of common symbols that have been injected into the mainstream advertising. She found that by removing the symbol from the context of an every day bottle cap, the meaning is then transformed into a personal icon to be celebrated by the individual.
