This classic piece has that renaissance feel to it. The pendant is sterling silver, slightly textured with a satin finish. A beautiful faceted Iolite cabachon stone is bezel set. The neck piece has been created by me with iolite stones and the three drops are amethyst. I just love the colour of iolite. Not quite purple and not quite blue. Just gorgious. This piece hangs 16". This piece reminds me of the Art made in Corn fields. Or was it the aliens??? Made from sterling silver and beautiful laboradite mixed in the chain.
This just screams summer to me. Mostly because I made it sitting on the beach watching my sons surfing. The coral is rich with colour and the turquiose compliments it completely. I have made this necklace quite long, approx 20" but with the chain being large it is completely adjustable to your length preference. I imagine a long flowing white linen dress, with a low lying neckline. gently wind swept from the ocean breeze and a carribean blue ocean as a back drop and the necklace long against the white to just make it pop. But hey, that is just me. All metal components are sterling silver.
