ARE YOU READY????
Okay, this winter is a doozy. Are we ready for yet another snow storm. By the sounds of it, this will be the second biggest snow storm I have experienced in my time here in the States. And it will be my sons second biggest also.
Wow. I thought we were in the home stretch. I have my Spring colours in the store. New facelift. New colours. New pieces. I am so excited about the new look and can't wait to see the other stores who did the same this week. Heading over there now before the bulk of the snow hits. Does anyone know what time that is anyway. I keep hearing different times. Here are a few Pictures I took yesterday. Will put in store this weekend.         This ring reminds me of a lovely gentleman I met one Summer in Cape May while he was vacationing. And then again he found me at the Kimmel center in Philadelphia. He liked the ring so much that when he saw me he was happy that he found me and bought yet another one. So, in honour of Shakespeare, yes, Shakespeare, I am calling this line, "Shakespeare". Wishing everyone prosperity and health for 2010. Looking forward to a great year of making and sharing with everyone. Now that the celebration is over it is time to get to work. The applications are coming in and hope to be selling at a market near you. Getting excited about the new line, can't wait to complete.

Road trip. Taking another day off from the studio and heading to the beautiful state of New York to visit the cousins. Oh, can't foget the new pup. Satchmo is going to have a blast getting to visit his younger cousin and running in the vast back yard. Perhaps a little hiking to tire the dogs out. And all the kids of course.
Will be looking for inspiration for my new line that will be coming up soon. Keep posted. It is slow going but I will get there. Well, time to head out. The boys are ready. THIS WAS TAKEN A FEW HOURS AGO ON THE THE BOARD WALK IN OCEAN CITY, NEW JERSEY. YES, IT EVEN SNOWS AT THE BEACH. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT, THEY EVEN PLOUGH THE BOARDWALK. CRAZY I TELL YOU. WELL, NOT MUCH GETTING MADE TODAY. JUST WATCHING THE SNOW FALL AND TRYING TO AVOID THE PLOUGH TRUCKS ON THE WAY TO GET OUR SUPPLY OF MILK AND TIM TAM'S. JUST IN CASE WE DO GET SNOWED IN. YOU NEVER HAVE TOO MANY TIM TAM'S IN THE CUPBOARD. POWER OUTAGE ON THE ISLAND. FLOODING ON THE STREETS. THOUGHT FOR SURE WE WERE GOING TO HAVE TO HEAD FOR WARMER CLIMES TODAY. OR AT LEAST SOMEWHERE WHERE THE ELECTRIC WAS ON. BUT ALAS, THE ELECTRIC KICKED ON AFTER AN HOUR AND THE HOUSE STARTED HEATING UP AGAIN. SO TIME TO GET BACK IN THE KITCHEN AND MAKE SOME RIBS, BAKED BEANS AND OUR FAVOURITE, THANKS TO A DEAR FRIEND OF MINE, MISS BETH, CHIPS. SORRY JEAN CLAUDE, I KNOW YOU SHOWED HER THIS RECIPE. BUT SHE HAD IT DOWN. THEY ARE THE BOMB AND SERVED REGULARLY AT OUR TABLE. I HAVE EVEN EXPERIMENTED WITH SWEET POTATOES AND BOY ARE THEY DELICIOUS. THANKS MISS BETH!!! EVERYTIME I SLICE THE POTATOES I START THINKING OF HER. MISS HER. SNOW MEN ARE BEING MADE OUT FRONT NOW AND WE NEED A NOSE FOR OUR SNOWMAN. SO I MUST SIGN OFF. The winds are howling and the snow is falling. It's a winter wonderland outside right now. Looks like the whole weekend is going to be shovelling the side walks and trying to find a new place to go sledding. Time to dig out all the winter gear. Not sure if we can find the winter gear. That will be an adventure in itself.
Stuck inside may incite some new pieces. Finish up some pieces that I have been weaving. With all the holiday activities projects seem to be taking longer than usual. Hoping to finish and share soon. Wow, what does that have to do with jewellery. Nothing really. But the wind is howling and it is high tide. Can't leave the house without the wellies. What else is there to do but write something. But what????
Well, I made the name tags for a friend of mine and I am quite liking the way they turned out. The delicate chain is pretty and the tags are dainty. The picture shows it looking larger due to the close up shots but the pendant is 1cm in width. So it is not too bulky. I will be making more soon. I will have every letter of the alphabet available within the next few days. The best part about these name tags is that you can also choose from pearls, gems or the swarovski crystals you see in the picture below in my last post. Also, if you are not a silver fan I can make in copper. Have a couple of kids and want a little variety. Choose mixing the metals, copper and silver. maybe even brass. I know crazy title. But got you here. Anyway, I worked really hard taking pictures today and was so excited getting them posted to share. What happens, you ask??? Well, let me tell you. I stupidly switched to another page to view the post and pictures. was absolutely done and ready to publish. Doing it all through homework and the dog barking and working out details for a birthday party for my son this weekend. Arrangements were taken care of by the way, just in case you are wondering.. Well, with all that said I returned to a blank page. Gggggrrrrrrr!!!! Did not make me happy at all. Sooooooo, I am going to attempt this again. And tomorrow I will make sure I have my little pretties up in the shop for all of you to gobble up. Right????
These great earrings are perfect for that holiday party coming up right around the corner. I know. The holidays are upon us once again. And these earrings can compliment that perfect holiday dress. I love the red, well i love all the colours. The blue earrings remind me of something blue, something borrowed, all in one. Surprised these pics turned out so well considering the gloomy, rainy day. But I was able to capture some sunlight to show the great colours of these briolettes.    Also, as promised the name tag pendants. Like I said in the earlier post, these are perfect to make that subtle rememberance of your loved ones. Or give as a gift for your brides maids. Hope you like the pictures.
